The New Nike Zoom Soldier 7 is a sneaker from the LeBron line that will likely skip out on the whole “Championship” thing this year. So while they won’t be getting that sort of special makeup, the shoes do still seem to be taking notes from some of the more easily recognizable looks from the New Nike shoes. This version for example almost has a “Dunkman” feel to it, toning down the volt sections from last year’s Dunkman version of the Nike LeBron X. It’s got the backwards Swoosh of the former and a sole treatment closer to the latter what with its lack of any visible Air unit. The LeBron X had a ‘USA’ colorway as one of its earliest, we’ve just seen it on the lowtop version, and now King James’ secondary signature model takes on a color scheme inspired by the Stars and Bars. This Nike Zoom Soldier VII reminds us that LeBron wore the Soldier IIs at the Beijing Olympics, this Deep Royal Blue color scheme adding red accents atop a Pure Platinum sole naturally connecting with USA Basketball (and appearing differently than the first time we saw the Deep Royal/Pure Platinum makeup). LeBron is wearing the Soldier VII during his summer tour of Asia, and now you can too with this one available now from Afew.
